  1. The coolest part about it for me was that while the technology was not quite there things advertised could be created in our life time. All seemed relatively safe and showcased human ingenuity.

  2. I noticed a lot of the robots people created were some type of human-like machine, or was a type of medicine, food item, or something used by people as leisurely. Also, many of the bots I saw were trying to help people stay more healthy.

  3. I think the most unique one was the Musicbot. Thought its ability to measure brain waves and play a song was pretty cool. the fact that it resembled popular products of today made it appeal to people of all ages.

  4. I saw some like machines, like stuff that self cleaned the tables or something. It seemed to not have a mind of it's owned, but like it was a cycle, like a dishwasher. I also so a lot of stuff that seemed to make things easier for humans like a dog walking robot, or a backpack that follows you. Overall, the robots were pretty nifty. I would have bought the backpack that followed you around. I hate carrying backpacks.

  5. I noticed that most of the robots presented would prove extremely helpful and even completely life changing for an average person. Some were just plainly for fun, and a few were meant as satire of "robot" products today, such as mine. Most were very vague and focused much more on the function of the robot than any specifications, because, of course, they don't actually exist.

  6. My favorite project was a feel better bot. This robot would give you a friend to talk to and spend time with. I liked this idea because it was funny and it was creative. Some warnings I would have would be the fact that some of these robots are discouraging exercise and social interaction. Those things are stuff that we deal with today. If we add the factor of robots in, the issue may become worse.

  7. I noticed that most dealt with households. All seemed to look really like an ad. There was one that I saw that was pretty cool, where you get to record your dreams. Warnings mostly dealt with fires or shortage of batteries. Safety features were pretty much all the same. Like saying there was an off/on switch for the robot.

  8. I didn't see many warning with the products created, but what I did see was that there was unlimited supplies of battery life, and things like tissues and many of the products were mobile. There were some jobs that took away from what a human can do already, not just an actual job, but just a human emotion

  9. All the robot advertisements I saw were very colorful and creative. They all had clever designs and a clear target audience. My favorite robot was the Toaster Oven Supreme because I would love to have a robot that made food for me. A pattern I saw was that all the warnings were in pretty small font at the bottom of the slide. Another pattern I saw was that most projects were household robots.

  10. I think the most interesting part was seeing how all the robots were made to help humans in some way. This is interesting, because humans are typically afraid or hesitant about allowing robots to assist them.

  11. All of these robots that I looked at are helpers. Whether it was picking your next song on your playlist or carrying yur stuff for you. It seems like many of them are doing things that us as humans might be to lazy to do.

  12. Most of the robots shown, were actually home use and consumer grade production models. The way robots are seen now, is currently limited to manufacturing, and military engagements. The idea that one of theses creations is possible, and very probable is cool but almost invasive.

  13. While looking at other classmates' Robot Advertisements, I noticed that many were focused on health and safety, while others were focused on making everyday life easier without having to do much work. I think that in some ways, robots of the future have good purposes and can definitely improve human technology, while others seem unnecessary and make humans look like they are not able to do certain tasks that should be easy in modern times. All of the advertisements were clever, and I believe that they could really be possible in our lifetime.

  14. I thought that the robot ads that I viewed were all very unique, and seemed like likely inventions of the future. However, thematically there were very similar. All of the projects I viewed had been designed to either provide companionship, or to do things you would otherwise not want to do, and I found this to be very intriguing. Are there any other purposes for robots?

  15. After looking at all the Robot Advertisements, I noticed that most, if not all, the robots were designed to do services for humans. I understand that was the purpose, but there were no robots that also helped the environment or social workers. Safety features were often breezed over and weren't treated as seriously as they should have been I feel like. Overall though, every project was highly creative, and I can honestly say I think every product will be made sometime in the future.

  16. I noticed a lot of the robots created were for everyday things and for the average citizen to use. They included safety features and all had certain limits to their abilities. The idea that these things are made to please humans was very common, the safety features included any warnings to avoid harming humans and certain procedures that would make humans more comfortable with the idea of using a robot for something. Some of them seemed more dangerous than others and may have been less accepted at first.

  17. There were no real patterns with most of the projects other than the authors probably made their robot based off of a problem in their lives. Most of the safety features were vague and only help to stop the robot from causing a mess or stress to the owner but nothing of real danger like hacking or tampering. What I found strange was that most of these products weren't life changing a lot of them had limited function for something made up.

  18. All robots are designed to serve humanity in one way or another, or at least designed with humanity in mind. It's really interesting to see how all these robots do just that in such different ways. It seems like just about all the things we do everyday that are annoying are made easier and faster with the robots my peers advertised. It seems like every conflict humans come to that can’t be solved either simply or through technology are being solved now through these ideas.

  19. What I noticed about the robot ads was that they were very creative. A lot of them were in the category of house hold ideas. A lot of them were convenient for the lazy side in us humans like making food. A lot of the purpose of the robots were to help humans. If you think about how most humans are skeptical about robots, these seemed pretty friendly.

  20. The primary thing I noticed while viewing others "Robot Ad Projects" is the fact the majority of the robots function was to alleviate some sort of work off of the human owner. Robots like butler robots or cleaning robots all are designed for eliminating some sort of work off a human.

  21. After looking at least 5 other robot advertisements I realized that all the bots did a job directly for humans, many appealed to all ages, and some bots had jobs more for medical use.

  22. All of the robots that I viewed had a good relevance in everyday life. They all were made to be helpful to humans. Maybe that is what life is going to look like in 20 years. We're gonna have robots doing everything for us because we are too lazy. All in all, all of the robot ads were good and I like some of the unique ideas that people brought out in their projects.

  23. Most of the robots that I saw were meant to help people with their daily lives, but some of them seemed a little cliche. Most were creative as I remembered, and I from what I remember I think some of them can actually be real inventions within 15 years or so
