That would not be smart at all. It would be wasting our money on stuff that might not ever happen. But I would love to work for it because I know I will make some money for doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteI think this connects to the Monsters on Maple street where if one person can convince another person of something, anything, then they can start to make more and more people believe.
ReplyDeleteThe showing of that would hard to find any other life and the reason it was passed down was because of the unlikeliness of it happening. It is crazy to see the amount of people signing it.
ReplyDeleteI think that that is just crazy. I dont really see any need to waste taxpayers money. I guarantee you that the US government already has plans in place for if this ever happens, it's unlikely it will see any use anyways.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that this motion might have passed if it was in a different state like Idaho with the most UFO sightings. Also sense it was going to be funded with tax money it was a hard sell.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is a pretty silly idea and that a lot of people signed the ballot. Using public funds to is also outrageous.The idea of greeting ufo with gifts.
ReplyDeleteI thought about ET and how some people want to make contact with aliens and some do not. But I think this was pretty outlandish. It just isn't worth the time and money to build a UFO base.
ReplyDeletethis reminds me of ET and monsters on maple street because monsters on maple street is like people telling other people things and they just automatically believe it whether it's a lie or not and ET. i also think that it's not a smart idea because like that's just a waste of money and time because it might not even happen or workout well but it COULD work.
ReplyDeleteIt seems weird to me that we would spend public funds on something we aren't even sure happens. Personally it seems like a waste to put that much money into this specific organization.

ReplyDeletei think that this is near et, there is an alien and people want to greet him, the difference is that et is a MOVIE, its science fiction even if it would work it just doesn't make any sense, it doesn't consent ti money just to make it.
This reminds me of "Monsters on Maple Street" because it has the aspect of things that can not be believed or have any evidence to support it.
